It is nearly time for the Rubens “Cobrinha” Charles & Kennedy Maciel seminars. Considered the GOAT of featherweight, Rubens Charles, also known as “Cobrinha” is a historical figure in the sport of Brazilian jiu-jitsu, being an IBJJF World Champion as well as a 3x (ADCC) champion. He is also renowned as a world-class teacher and coach; having produced several world champions, including his son Kennedy Maciel. Joining Professor “Cobrinha” on his trip to South Africa will be his son Kennedy Maciel. Kennedy is a highly accomplished athlete and blackbelt world champion in his own right.
While Cobrinha and Kennedy will be arriving on Monday, there will be two seminars hosted at HQ. The first is on Tuesday night at 17:30, which is strictly for affiliate members only. The second public seminar is taking place on Saturday 12 March.
