It was another busy weekend for the grappling team this past weekend, with all 8 members of the team claiming gold in their respective divisions at the recent ADCC South African Open. We could not be prouder of the team and their respective performances. Well done Armandt van den Berg, Monique van Staden, Thimna Mlhauli, Liam Shulze, Karl Fritzenkotter, Brena Da Silva, Alex Awolaja, and Aidan Griffith.
The next stop for the QW tribe is our in-house affiliation tournament this Saturday. Followed by Submission Kings, Queens & Kids on 10-11 September; where we will be looking to repeat this incredible performance.
We also would like to give. a shoutout to our affiliates, Cornerstone BJJ, Warriors of Faith, and Apex Sports who also put on great performances and claimed several of their own medals on Saturday.
