The mats have been packed away, the medals have been awarded, and another incredible Sunninghill Gi Open has come to an end—but the memories will last a lifetime.
Leg 3 brought together athletes from across Gauteng for a day filled with courage, determination, sportsmanship and world-class Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. From young competitors stepping onto the competition mats for the very first time to experienced athletes delivering outstanding performances, every division showcased the growth of our local Jiu-Jitsu community.
One of the greatest parts of any tournament is being able to look back on those special moments: the intensity before the match, the celebrations after a victory, the lessons learned after defeat, and the friendships built throughout the day.
We’re pleased to announce that the official Sunninghill Gi Open – Leg 3 photo gallery is now available.

Instead of selling individual images, we’re simply asking for a R100 donation to the TRIBE Martial Arts Foundation.
Every contribution helps the Foundation continue its mission of empowering children, families and communities through martial arts, education and mentorship. By downloading your competition memories, you’re also helping create opportunities for others to experience the life-changing benefits of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
A huge thank you goes to every competitor, coach, referee, volunteer, supporter and family member who made Leg 3 such a success. Events like these are only possible because of the incredible community that continues to support the growth of our sport.
We hope you enjoy reliving the day through the photos, and we look forward to seeing everyone back on the mats at the next Sunninghill Gi Open.
