Competitive couple of weeks for the QuanWessels crew

QuanWessels athletes and members have been super busy the past few weeks claiming gold and victories locally and globally! Starting with the grappling team taking home many medals at the most recent Submission Kings, Queens and Kids.

Massive shoutouts to all the athletes who competed, but mostly Keneilwe Ntjilo, Allesandro Carapis, Monique van Staden and Armandt van Den Berg who all claimed gold in their respective divisions.

Heading to UAE, Martin van Staden made his UAE Warriors debut with much acclaim, earning a second round TKO.

Last but definitely not least, the Griffith kids competing at ADCC weekend in Las Vegas. First up, saw the ever smiling Hannah Griffith snatching up 4th place in the ladies division in the ADCC Open; while cousin Aiden Griffith putting on a commendable performance in his own right. In the highlight, saw Luke Griffith enter the biggest grappling platform in the world to represent South Africa. Drawing former 2X time champion Yuri Simoes, Luke put on an excellent showcase; but unfortunately did not get the referee’s nod.
